Andrea Anders
Anders was born within DeForest in Wisconsin and is now based at Los Angeles. She graduated from DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. Then, in 1997 she earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. In 2001, Anders earned the title of Master of Fine Arts at Rutgers University. Between 2006 and 2015, Anders and her former Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc, who met on the set of the show that was cancelled, dated. Sean Anders directs her (Sex Drive, never been Thawed). Anders started her stage career in 2001. She played the role of an understudy for Mary Louise Parker in the Broadway production of Proof as well as later playing her role as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate. Alongside On the Jump, New Doors in the Guthrie Theater as well as New World Rhapsody, she was also on the Arena Stage in On the Jump, New Doors, at the Guthrie Theater. In May 2007, Anders started in the Geffen Playhouse performance of Fat Pig. She played the part of Jeannie an accountant Fat Pig closed on July 1st, 2007. Anders made her first television appearance on a Dannon commercial which ran throughout the years 1990 until 2006. Anders is best known for her role in the television series Joey (as attorney Alex Garrett) and The Class in the role of Nicole Allen (nee Campbell), an ex-football player's wife. In both instances, she was on all the episodes but the shows were removed from the air. Anders was also seen making guest appearances for One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. In 2003, she starred as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. Also, she made small appearances on The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders was as a character in Numb3rs (2008). Anders was also a part of two failed TV pilots. Spellbound was one of them, as was News To Me another. Anders appeared in Better Off Ted for ABC the comedy-drama featuring just one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.
