Chelsea Daniels has remained one of Van der Pol's most renowned roles, both for adults and teenagers. The critics praised her for portraying such an extrovert and possibly dimwitted role, that many believed was impossible because of her serious past roles. In 2006 she was the voice of Heather as Heather in Kim Possible. One of her first voiceovers was for the character. Van der Pol, who voiced Ronnie in 2011's Disney Channel Original Shake It Up series, is a singer. Van der Pol has recorded a number of tracks for Walt Disney Records, including the song she composed together with Raven-Symone and Orlando Brown for That's So the soundtrack of Raven. Over It also appeared on the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck Suburbs soundtrack. Van der Pol recorded R&B/pop renditions of The Lion King's Circle of Life, and Cinderella's Dream Is a Wish You Create for the release of a special edition of both films, which also featured The Disney Channel Circle of Stars. To promote an episode of Disneymania in the year 2006, van derPol performed the Disney classic Candle on the Water. In her role as Belle van der Pol on broadway, she has recorded a number of songs featured on the film's soundtrack. A song that she recorded is her iconic A Change in Me.
